So not all that long ago, I went up to the 2023 Bellingen Readers & Writers Festival, and had the most fantastic time.
I appeared on three panels, about Crossing Genres, Who Gets To Tell The Story, and Speculative Fiction writers reading their own works, and met some amazing people, chatted to some long time writing heroes of mine, and just generally hung out and enjoyed myself.
So in short, if you get the chance, definitely add Bellingen to your ‘festivals to attend’ list–it’s seriously one of the best writers festivals I’ve experienced.
